ASR Gooyesh Pardaz' expert group in speech processing filed working to develop speech-based methods and improve the ability of the existing products. Our group includes Sharif University of Technology's M.S and Ph.D. students and graduated students and our aim is to use the human's speech abilities in computer system which results simplicity in communication and utilizing the existing technology in low cost and less time. This group tries to do research in speech processing areas and develop applicable and useful methods that can utilize in real applications.
Improving the ability of the recognition systems in real environments and in presence of various noises, using the linguistic information in these systems, processing the speech signal and modeling the acoustic with continuous improvements in methods and using the speech abilities on micro-computers are the major fields of activity in this group.
